Beverly is a grant writer, implementation specialist, and evaluator for both federal and state grants procured for K-12 schools and organizations. Her expertise lies in her ability to develop meaningful workshops for teaching professionals and in evaluating, with school leaders, their progress toward meeting the goals of their grant.

Previously, Beverly served in a variety of educational and business settings. She has demonstrated ability in teacher education and professional development, literacy instruction, Writing instruction, Adult Basic and GED education, emergent literacy tutoring, TESOL instruction, computer systems analysis and program design, and elementary education.

As she neared retirement. Beverly returned to school where she completed all coursework toward a Master’s in Reading and a Master’s in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. In her spare-time, she volunteers to tutor adults in reading and English with immigrant populations.
