Esther Mosak, MEd

Esther Mosak (M.Ed, Policy and Administration; M.Ed, Instructional Leadership) is a writer, researcher, and evaluator. Her career has focused on opening doors, particularly for those who are all too often shut out, through engagement with literacy. Her decades of experience range from teaching English learners in primary grades, through evaluation of grant-funded programs for teacher professional development, to leading literature-based discussion groups with people transitioning from incarceration.

Esther’s grant writing expertise includes prospect development, proposal drafting, technical assistance to grantees, and production and presentation of reports. As a researcher and evaluator, her focus has been on project effectiveness and replicability. She is particularly proficient in qualitative data analysis.

Her most recent work in curriculum development has entailed writing and editing supports for teachers working with English learners in a new K-8 language arts program. Years spent abroad and foreign language fluency have enhanced Esther’s cultural sensitivity.
